Texas Rangers 3 Florida Marlins 2

Matt Treanor came on as a pinch hitter for the Texas Rangers against his old team in the 9th inning and delivered a game-winning triple.   Treanor’s hit scored 2 runs as the Rangers defeated the Florida Marlins 3-2.

Alexi Ogando made his major league debut count as he pitched a scoreless 8th inning to get the win.  Netfali Feliz earned his 16th save in 18 attempts by pitching a scoreless ninth.

The Rangers have now won 6 of their last 7 games and remain in 1st place in the AL West.
