Tickets for 2011 Texas Rangers FanFest go on sale Monday
The Texas Rangers announced today that tickets for the club’s all-new 2011 FanFest will go on sale on Monday, December 13 at 9:00 a.m.
Tickets for FanFest, which returns to a two-day event for the first time since 2001, will be available for advance purchase at 972-RANGERS or through texasrangers.com.
The Rangers 2011 FanFest returns to the Arlington Convention Center and will take place on Saturday and Sunday, January 22-23. Hours will be 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
FanFest is being completely revamped for 2011 and will feature
a variety of new features, including interactive games. There will be free autograph sessions with current and former Rangers throughout the two days as well as interactive question & answer sessions with Rangers executives, players and announcers.
Admission to the 2011 Texas Rangers FanFest will be $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 13 and under for a one-day pass and $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 13 and under for a two-day pass. Rangers season ticket holders will be admitted for just $10.00 for a one-day pass and $15.00 for a two-day pass.

Tickets are still available for the exclusive Premiere of IT’S TIME: THE INCREDIBLE SEASON OF THE 2010 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPION TEXAS RANGERS on Tuesday December 14 at UT Arlington’s Rosebud Theatre.
A limited number of tickets for the Premiere are still available by calling 817-273-5207 or going to texasrangers.com. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with a red carpet, and IT’S TIME will be shown at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the Premiere are priced at $40.00 each and include a complimentary copy of the IT’S TIME DVD. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the USMCR Toys for Tots and the Cowboy Santa programs.
Presented by Major League Baseball Productions and A&E Home Entertainment in conjunction with FOX Sports Southwest, IT’S TIME: THE INCREDIBLE SEASON OF THE 2010 AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPION TEXAS RANGERS is a remarkable DVD yearbook capturing every memorable inning, play and heart-stopping moment from the magical 2010 campaign that featured the first World Series appearance in franchise history. The DVD is narrated by 2011 Ford C. Frick Award nominee and Rangers radio voice Eric Nadel.
In addition to showing IT’S TIME, the Premiere will include appearances and autographs by manager Ron Washington and current and former Texas Rangers as well as other holiday events. The 2010 American League Championship Trophy will also be available for photographs. John Rhadigan of Fox Sports Southwest will serve as MC. Food and beverages will be served.
The Rosebud Theatre is located in UT Arlington’s E.H. Hereford University Center at 300 West First St. in Arlington.
