After a 62 year wait, the United States bobsled team finally stood atop the Olympic podium again.  USA-1 driver, Steve Holcomb, and his team of Steve Mesler, Curtis Tomasevicz, and Justin Olson, took the gold over the 4-time Olympic champion German team.  The last time a USA team won the 4-man bobsled event was 1948.  “This will take a while for it to sink in,” Holcomb said. “You work so hard and when you finally get there it’s like, ‘Well, now what? I don’t know what to do.’ We’ve worked so hard and gone through so much in the last four years. To end on a high note like this is huge. It’s overwhelming.”
