SMU Routs Eastern Michigan

DALLAS (AP) — Semi Ojeleye had 18 points and eight rebounds, Jarrey Foster also put in 18 points, and SMU rolled past Eastern Michigan 91-64 on Sunday.

Shake Milton and Sterling Brown added 12 points apiece with Milton passing out five assists and Brown grabbing seven boards. Ben Moore had 11 points and six rebounds as the Mustangs shot 52.7 percent and dominated the boards 44-26.

Brown made a 3-pointer and Jarrey Foster added a 3-point play to give the Mustangs (2-0) a 20-point lead to start the second half. The margin never dipped below that, reaching a high of 29.

The Eagles (0-2), coming off a 93-90 double-overtime loss to Pitt on Friday, hung around for a while in the first half before SMU gradually built 14-point halftime lead. Ray Lee, making 14 of 15 free throws, scored 26 points for EMU, which shot 34 percent. Willie Mangum IV added 16 points.

SMU will now travel to New York City and Madison Square Garden to take on Pittsburgh on Thursday, Nov. 17. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
