Cowboys Rout Bills
|The Dallas Cowboys beat the Buffalo Bills 44-7 Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
Quarterback Tony Romo set a team record for accuracy, completing 23 of 26 passes for 270 yards and 3 touchdowns. Romo completed his first 13 passes in the game. Romo’s favorite target, tight end Jason Witten, caught 5 passes for 37 yards. Witten passed Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome to move into 3rd place all-time for catches by a tight end.
Receiver Dez Bryant caught all 6 passes thrown his way Sunday, including a 34-yard touchdown.
Dallas running back DeMarco Murray gained 135 yards and a touchedown on 20 carries. Murray also caught 6 passes for 36 yards.
The Cowboys defense forced 3 interceptions and a fumble, as they swarmed the Bills.
Kicker Dan Bailey hit 3 field goals to extend his streak to 21. Bailey has not missed since September 18.
