Mavericks beat Clippers 112-105

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 112-105 Tuesday night at the American Airlines Center.  The Mavericks have now won eight straight against the Clippers, including 14 of the last 15 meetings.

Dirk Nowitzki (20), Tyson Chandler (21), Jason Terry (28) and Jose Barea (25) all scored 20-plus points in the win over the Clippers on Tuesday. It marked the first time this season that at least four Mavericks have recorded at least 20 points in a game.  It was season-high point totals for both Jason Terry and Tyson Chanlder.

The Mavericks’ bench outscored the Clippers’ bench 63-28. Jason Terry (28), J.J. Barea (25) and Shawn Marion (10) combined for all of Dallas’ bench points. The 63 bench points are the fifth-most by any team this season.

Dallas finished 10-of-24 (.417) from beyond the arc on Tuesday. The Mavericks have now made at least one 3-pointer in 982 consecutive games, which is the longest active streak in the NBA.

The Mavericks next game is vs. Houston on Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
