Oklahoma City Takes Game 1 Over The Mavs

Kevin Durant made a last-second jumper to give Oklahoma City a 99-98 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the opening round of the NBA Playoffs.
Dallas led by 7 with just over 2 minutes to play when Oklahoma began their rally. The Thunder went on a 7-0 run over the next minute to tie the game at 94. Six of Durant’s 25 points came in the final 2 1/2 minutes.
The Mavericks were led by Dirk Nowitzki, with 25 points, and Jason Terry, with 20. Shawn Marion scored 17 and grabbed 8 rebounds. Jason Kidd had 7 steals.
Oklahoma City was led by Russell Westbrook, with 28 points, followed by Durant’s 25 and Serge Ibaka’s career-high 22.
Dallas will try to even the best-of-seven series Monday night in Oklahoma City.
