Rangers Rally for win in Cleveland

The Texas Rangers fell behind 3-0 after just two innings against the Cleveland Indians.  They remained down until the 5th inning when Texas rattled off 3 runs to tie the game.   The Rangers put the game away just one inning later with another 3 runs and capped it with a run in the 9th.

Endy Chavez is making a case that he belongs in the big leagues.  The outfielder, who is subbing for the injured Julio Borbon, is batting .414 after going 4-for-4 in this game.  Chavez had an RBI, scored twice, and stole a base against the Indians.

Mitch Moreland also had a hot bat for the Rangers, hitting 2-for-3, while Nelson Cruz continued to provide offense, getting 2 hits in 4 at-bats.

David Bush started for Texas, pitching 4 innings, giving up 3 runs.  He was relieved by Michael Kirkman, who went 3 innings, giving up just 1 run and earning his first career MLB win.  Darren Oliver and Mark Lowe combined for an inning before Neftali Feliz pitched a scoreless 9th inning to earn his 12th save of the season.

Texas and Cleveland play again Friday night.
