Rangers Win 7th Straight

The Texas Rangers won their 7th consecutive game Thursday night with a 10-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers.

Starting pitcher Yu Darvish went 6 2/3 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits while striking out 5.  Darvish improves his record to 2-0.  Alexi Ogando, Robbie Ross, and Scott Feldman completed the game on the mound for the Rangers.

Every Texas batter got at least 1 hit in the game.  Mike Napoli hit a home run for the 4th straight game.  Ian Kinsler, Michael Young, and Nelson Cruz each had 3 hits.

The Rangers were aggressive on the basepath, stealing 4 bases.

The Rangers, at 11-2, have the best record in the American League.  The starting rotation is 9-0, a club record.

Game 2 of the 4 game series in Detroit is tonight.
