RoughRiders Rout Corpus Christi

The Frisco RoughRiders held batting practice during their game against the Corpus Christi Hooks.  Every Riders better got at least 1 hit in the 10-2 rout.

Right fielder Brad Hawpe went 4-for 5 at the plate.  Designated hitter Val Majewski went 3-for-4, and shortstop Jurickson Profar extended his hitting streak with a double and a single in the game.

Frisco pitcher Barret Loux earned his 7th win with no losses with a 5 1/2 inning showing.  Loux is the first pitcher of the season in all of major or minor league baseball to get to 7 victories.

Reliever Chad Bell closed out the game with 3 2/3 scoreless innings to earn his 2nd save of the year.

Game 2 of the 4 game series is tonight at 7:05pm.
