Stars fall to Coyotes

The Dallas Stars fell on the road again, this time to the Phoenix Coyotes 5-2.

James Neal and Loui Eriksson scored for the Stars, but it was not enough as Phoenix took a 3-0 1st period lead and was never threatened.

Dallas converted only 1 of 7 power play opportunities as they continue to struggle away from home.

Andrew Raycroft, filling in for injured Kari Lehtonen, gave up 5 goals on 30 shots before making room for Richard Bachman to finish the 3rd period.  Bachman made 4 saves in his 9 1/2 minutes on ice.

Dallas travels to San Jose on Monday.
