Reliever Alexi Ogando went 1 1/3 inning, giving up his first run of the year.
At the plate, Ian Kinsler hit his 3rd home run of the year, and Elvis Andrus blasted his first. Josh Hamilton hit a double, as did Kinsler.
Catcher Yorvit Torrealba got his first stolen base of the year.
The Rangers and Mariners finish the series at 1:05pm today at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
