Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic Returns
The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation announced the first wave of celebrity players for its seventh annual Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic, taking place Saturday, Sept. 13 at Banner House at T Bar M in Dallas.
The initial celebrity roster includes NBA Hall of Famer Steve Nash and U.S. tennis great John Isner, with more star-studded names to be announced in the coming weeks.
They will join Dirk Nowitzki for an afternoon of exhibition-style tennis packed with competitive play, personality, and plenty of crowd-pleasing moments—all in support of a great cause.
“Tennis was my first sport, and it’s still a game I love to play. I started this fundraiser years ago, and it’s been incredible to watch it grow into an event that not only brings the community together but also makes a real difference for children and families in need. The community’s support each year is truly inspiring and means so much to me,” said Nowitzki.

As the Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, the event directs 100% of proceeds toward which awards grants annually to North Texas organizations focusing on children’s wellbeing, health and education.
