Ohio State (9-0) maintained the No. 3 spot after extending its winning streak to 22 games with a 28-14 win at home over Minnesota. Notre Dame (9-1) moved up to No. 4, the spot that Alabama held last week.

At No. 5 was Iowa (9-0), the leader in the Big Ten West Division, followed by Baylor (8-0) at No. 6.

Stanford (8-1) rose to seventh and Oklahoma State (9-0) jumped from 14th to eighth after its win over TCU. Rounding out the top 10 were LSU (7-1), which fell from second after its loss to Alabama, and Utah (8-1).
