Charles Schwab Challenge Star-Studded Field is Set

The Charles Schwab Challenge field for 2022 will feature five of the top nine players in the world coming to Colonial Country Club headlined by No. 1 and reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, who was a late commitment on Friday afternoon just prior to the PGA Tour deadline.

No. 3 Collin Morikawa, No. 6 Viktor Hovland, No. 8 Jordan Spieth and No. 9 Justin Thomas round out the top 10 players competing for the Leonard Trophy.

Sam Burns (13), Billy Horschel (14), Tony Finau (19), Sungjae Im (20), Abraham Ancer (21) and Bryson DeChambeau (22), Daniel Berger (25), Max Homa (28), Kevin Kisner (29) and Will Zalatoris (30) give the Charles Schwab Challenge 15 of the top 30 golfers in the world rankings.

Luminaries such as Rickie Fowler, Justin Rose, Patrick Reed, Bubba Watson, Gary Woodland, Tommy Fleetwood, Webb Simpson and Ian Poulter are also set to play in Fort Worth.

Past champions Spieth, Kisner, Berger, Rose, Zach Johnson, Chris Kirk, Kevin Na join defending champion Jason Kokrak as those in the field at Colonial who have already captured the plaid jacket.

AT&T Byron Nelson winner K.H. Lee joins Scheffler, Homa, Kokrak Im, Tom Hoge, Talor Gooch and J.J. Spaun as PGA Tour winners this season who will be on hand at Colonial.

The Charles Schwab Challenge is set for May 23-29 at Colonial Country Club.
