FRISCO, TX – The often imitated, never equaled Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) have officially selected their 2026-2027 team, welcoming eight talented rookies to the roster of 36.
Auditions reached new heights this year with the DCC receiving 55% more applications than in 2025, with hopefuls representing 25 states and three countries, underscoring the worldwide appeal of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders brand.
After five weeks of Training Camp, Cowboys Co-Owner and Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones surprised the team during a field rehearsal at Ford Center at The Star on Wednesday night with the announcement that they had officially earned their place on the squad.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will make their 2026-2027 field debut at AT&T Stadium during the Cowboys preseason game vs. the New Orleans Saints on Friday, August 28 at 7:00pm CT.
