FC Dallas Defeats Inter Miami

Frisco, Texas (Oct. 28, 2020) – FC Dallas (7-5-7) earns 2-1 comeback victory over Inter Miami CF (6-12-3) at Toyota Stadium thanks to goals from Franco Jara and Ryan Hollingshead.
 
Game Summary
First Half:

• 13’ – Jimmy Maurer makes an early save after Inter Miami’s Andrés Reyes attempts to head in a cross from Lewis Morgan. 
• 17’ – Ryan Hollingshead’s header is saved by Miami’s John McCarthy following a freekick from Andrés Ricaurte.
• 33’ – Rodolfo Pizarro slots one past Maurer and gives Inter Miami a 1-0 lead after he connects with a through ball from Gonzalo Higuaín inside the box.

Second Half

• 60’ – Franco Jara converts from the penalty spot to the left of Miami’s John McCarthy to level the match up.
• 64’ – Fafa Picaults’ header in the middle of the box is punched out by McCarthy for a corner kick, following a cross from Michael Barrios.
• 82’ – Bryan Reynolds finds Ryan Hollingshead at the back post who simply taps it in to give FC Dallas the 2-1 lead.
