Frisco, TX (June 19, 2021) – FC Dallas (1-3-4, 7 points) split the points with Minnesota United FC (2-5-1, 8 points) thanks to a second-half goal from 18-year-old Ricardo Pepi at Toyota Stadium Saturday night. 
 
Game Summary
First Half:

  • 7’ – SHOT (DAL) – Jáder Obrian found an opening between the defenders and fired a low shot from outside the box but Minnesota’s Tyler Miller made the save.
  • 24’ – SAVE (DAL) – Jimmy Maurer saved Minnesota’s Adrien Hunou left-footed shot at the top of the six-yard box after Romain Métanire sent a through ball to the forward. 
  • 36’ – GOAL (MIN) – Minnesota scored the first goal of the night when Franco Fragapane scored the rebound after Maurer saved Hunou’s initial shot inside the box. 

Second Half

  • 56’ – SHOT (DAL) – José Martínez fired a curling shot from outside the box but Miller made a jumping save. 
  • 68’ – GOAL (DAL) – FC Dallas finds the equalizer when Ricardo Pepi curls his shot past Miller after he received the ball at the top of the box from Ryan Hollingshead and pushed through Minnesota’s defense.  
  • 70’ – SAVE (DAL) – Maurer saved Hunou’s right-footed shot from the center of the box following a cross from Ethan Finlay.
