Frisco, Texas (August 13, 2022) – FC Dallas (10-7-9, 39 points) earned a 4-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes (5-11-9, 23 points) thanks to two goals from Homegrown Jesús Ferreira Saturday night at Toyota Stadium.
Tonight’s result is FC Dallas’ second four-goal game of 2022. Dallas netted four goals against the Portland Timbers on March 19. Jesús Ferreira scored a hat trick while Paul Arriola added the fourth goal in the match.
Jesús Ferreira’s goal in the third minute of the match is now FC Dallas’ earliest goal scored this season. Ferreira has a team-high 14 goals in 2022, four goals off Kenny Cooper and Jason Kreis’ record for the most goals scored in a season.
