Mosquera Scores Hat Trick in FC Dallas Victory

Frisco, Texas – FC Dallas (4-2-4) soundly beats the Colorado Rapids (3-4-4) 4-1 behind a Santiago Mosquera hat trick at Toyota Stadium on Wednesday night.

Game Summary
First Half:

• 7’ – Tanner Tessmann finds an opening and sends a right-footed shot from 25 yards out but Colorado’s Clint Irwin pushes it wide following a set piece. 
• 17’ – Kyle Zobeck denies former FCD midfielder Kellyn Acosta’s left-footed shot from outside of the box for his first save of the night. 
• 41’ – Santiago Mosquera scores the first goal of the night after finding open space inside the box following a cutback from Michael Barrios. 

Second Half:

• 49’ – Franco Jara scores his third FC Dallas goal and gives FC Dallas a 2-0 lead after heading in a cross from Reto Zeigler following a corner. 
• 57’ – Santiago Mosquera scores his second goal of the night with a powerful left-footed strike that goes to the back post of Colorado’s goal.
• 63’ –  Andre Shinyashiki pulls one goal back for Colorado with a right-footed shot from outside of the box that deflected off Reto Zeigler’s back. 
• 78’ – Santiago Mosquera completes his hat trick with a powerful right-footed shot that ended in the bottom left corner of the Colorado goal.
