We are now later in the season, which means it’s next man up. Each and every team is facing injuries that can massively impact the season. If you have good depth then you can find ways to win, even with star players out. These two teams are no exception as both starting quarterbacks are facing injuries. Cleveland’s Deshaun Watson (out for the season) for a displaced fracture in throwing shoulder, and Trevor Lawrence (questionable) after suffering an ankle injury in week 13. Even with a backup QB, the Browns have succeeded with a very efficient defense, probably the best in the league. They have made opposing offenses suffer. We are still unaware of Trevor Lawrence’s status thus far and I think that will determine who has a chance in this game. With no Lawrence, the Browns should dominate in a defensive battle. If Lawrence can play, the game will be close but I think the Jags prevail. These teams are still very much in a race to make a run in the playoffs so getting the best seeding is the main focus.

A 6-6 Buffalo Bills look to improve their record by going to the hostile Arrowhead Stadium to take on an 8-4 Chiefs. Kansas City is 2-3 in their last five, which comes as a surprise as this is usually the part of the season where they start to pull away and win the top seed in the AFC. This hasn’t been the best year for the Chiefs, despite Patrick Mahomes playing great, the receiving game has been a major issue. The offense at times looks out of sync, late game situations have not gone in their favor in all four of their losses. Buffalo has the right personnel to be a powerhouse, but as they sit there at .500 in week 14 I wonder if they will figure it out in time. This is the week to do that though as they can prove to everyone why they still are a great team by beating a struggling Chiefs squad at their own house.
Hot pick: Buffalo -103

This Sunday Night matchup comes with much anticipation! The divisional rematch we’ve all been waiting for! The previous game this season saw Dallas narrowly losing to the Eagles in an exciting battle in Philadelphia. This time is in Arlington and the Cowboys don’t lose home games of late. Winners of 14 straight on the home turf, Dallas is ready for anything. The Eagles have certainly taken a step back from the almost unbeatable juggernauts they seemed to be earlier this season. The bad loss to the Niners humbled them and showed a good plan on how to play them. Since the first loss to Philly, Dallas has been on absolute fire with quarterback Dak Prescott playing at an MVP level in leading an unstoppable offense. The main concern for Dallas would be an angry Eagles defense, who can be world beaters up front. The Cowboys offensive line has been more than suspect and gives up many penalties while in stressful pass blocking situations. Their main hope is that a stellar Dallas defense can shut down Jalen Hurts and the passing game, forcing them to go on the ground. Dallas has to overcome a frightful defense and put up yards in the air to win. I think Dallas takes revenge at home and puts a hold on Philly’s divisional title hopes, at least for another week!
