DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Mustangs women’s soccer team has announced its summer camp schedule. Camps will be offered throughout June and July for girls ages 5-18.

The clinics will be run by the full SMU coaching staff, including 1995 national championship-winning head coach Chris Petrucelli. Field players and goalkeepers will have the opportunity to learn from a seasoned staff through group and positional coaching sessions. Mental conditioning techniques will also be taught to help give campers a well-rounded experience.

On campus lodging is available for campers and is included in the camp price. All meals will be provided as well.

In addition to standard age-based soccer camps, a college preparatory camp is again available this summer. Girls ages 14-18 are encouraged to sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to spend extra time with some of the top collegiate soccer coaches in the state, and to showcase their skills in nightly scrimmages in front of them. In addition to adding more camp weeks, SMU is also offering both full day and half-day camps.

The first camp starts June 10, so those interested are urged to sign up quickly to ensure a spot in the clinic. For more information, those interested can visit www.smusoccercamp.com, e-mail smusoccercamp@smu.edu, or call 214-768-7777.
