PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AAC/SMU) – SMU sophomore Deion Sanders, Jr., was named first-team All-American Athletic Conference as a return specialist in a poll of the league’s 11 head coaches, the AAC announced today.

Sanders, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, notched 759 return yards in just 10 games this season, the seventh-best season in school history, including a school-record 203-yard performance at UCF on Nov. 22. That game was one of three 100-yard-plus performances, as the sophomore also had 131 yards at Baylor and 108 versus Cincinnati.

Fans can catch Sanders and his Mustang teammates under the leadership of new Head Coach Chad Morris next season for as little as $99 for SMU’s seven-game home slate. SMU season tickets make great stocking stuffers for the sports fans on your shopping list. Baylor and UNT will be among those visiting Ford Stadium in 2015, and season tickets make each game as little as $14.15, a 14% drop from last season’s per game prices.
