SMU Equestrian Signee Shines At Horse Shows By The Bay

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (SMU) – SMU equestrian signee Greer Hindle was the winner of WIHS Equitation Jumper and Hunter Phase, took home the blue ribbon in the USEF Platinum Performance Talent Search and the $10,000 Open Jumper Welcome Prix Friday at Horse Shows by the Bay.

Leading a field of 25, Greer and her jumper mount Viper P cruised home double clear in the Welcome Prix, stopping the clock in a fast time of 38.299.

“The highlight of my day was everything…all the classes!,” Hindle said. “I haven’t been here in about two years, so I’m happy to be back. I’m having a really good time”.

Hindle also won the USEF/Pessoa Hunter medal at the Kentucky Spring Classic and won the Maclay in May.

Hindle is trained by Donald Cheska of Waukesha, WI and Wellington, FL.
