SMU Girl’s Soccer Camps Now Registering

DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU Mustangs women’s soccer team is excited to kick off the 2014 camp season, and invites youth soccer players of all ages to sign up to work with the SMU coaching staff and players.

Three sets of camp dates are available, with both half-day and full-day options. The first camp will go from June 9-13, the second from June 23-27 and the final camp will take place July 21-25. The clinics will be run by the full SMU coaching staff, including 1995 national championship-winning head coach Chris Petrucelli. Field players and goalkeepers will have the opportunity to learn from a seasoned staff through group and positional coaching sessions.

In addition to standard age-based soccer camps, a college preparatory camp is again available this summer. Girls ages 14-18 are encouraged to sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to spend extra time with some of the top collegiate soccer coaches in the state, and to showcase their skills in nightly scrimmages in front of them.
