SMU Loses For First Time This Season

The SMU Mustangs fell to Arkansas-Little Rock 69-56 in the Hoops for Hope Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  It is the first loss for the Mustangs (5-1) under head coach Larry Brown.  

Four players scored in double figures for the Mustangs, led by Shawn Williams with 15.  London Giles scored 12 to put himself in double figures for the first time this season.  Cannen Cunningham added 11 points and 7 rebounds.  Nick Russell added 10 points.

It is the first career double-double for Williams, who grabbed 10 rebounds to go with his 15 points.

The Mustangs stay in Mexico to take on Missouri State tonight at 6.
