SMU Track: Distance Medley Team Sets Record At C-USA Indoor Championships

HOUSTON (SMU) — The SMU track and field team started Conference USA Indoor Championships with an impressive win in the Distance Medley relay. The team, composed of Mary Alenbratt (1200m) Egheosa Osawemwenze (400m), Lovisa Lindh (800m) and Silje Fjortoft (1600m), notched a school-record with an 11:37.87 finish, which bested second place by over 15 seconds.

The C-USA Indoor Championships continue today at the University of Houston.
