SMU’s Lesniak Moves To Final At USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships

FLUSHING, N.Y. (SMU) — No. 10 Marta Lesniak advanced to the championship match of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Collegiate Championships by topping No. 4 Denise Dy of Washington 7-6(2), 1-6, 6-4 in the semifinal. Lesniak will face No. 26 Joanna Mather of Florida in the final on Sunday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Lesniak is now 101-18 (.849), which moves her into a tie for third at SMU in career wins and is second in career winning percentage.
