FORT WORTH – Cam Warner’s 2-out base hit in the 10th gave No. 1 TCU a 3-2 walk-off victory over No. 16 Dallas Baptist Tuesday night at Lupton Stadium. The Horned Frogs twice rallied from one-run deficits to post their seventh straight win.

The Rundown
Luken Baker worked a one-out walk in the 10th and moved to third on a two-out single up the middle off the bat of Nolan Brown. Warner delivered in the clutch, beating out an infield single to drive in the game-winning run.

DBU took a 1-0 lead in the second inning to which TCU responded with a run of its own in the fifth. Austen Wade reached on a lead-off singled. Evan Skoug beat out a potential double play ball, allowing Wade to cross the plate with the tying run.

Dallas Baptist struck again in the seventh, taking a 2-1 lead. The Patriots played small ball to get Camden Duzenack across the plate for the lead.

Once again, the Frogs answered, tying the game in the bottom of the inning. Elliott Barzilli reached on a two-out infield single and scored on a rocket shot up the middle off the Baker for a 2-2 game.

Dalton Horton started for the Frogs and turned in four solid innings. He allowed a run on two hits, walked one and struck out eight. The bullpen quintet of Austin Boyles, Ryan Burnett, Charles King, Trey Morris and Durbin Feltman (2-0) limited the Patriots to a run on five hits and struck out four.
