TCU overcomes SMU 41-24

The 4th ranked TCU Horned Frogs defeated the SMU Mustangs 41-24 in a game that was closer than the score indicates.

SMU took the early 7-0 lead, and stayed close. TCU led at halftime 14-10. SMU quarterback Kyle Padron gave the Mustangs the lead again in the 3rd quarter with a touchdown pass following an interception of TCU’s Andy Dalton. TCU scored on their next 3 possessions and sealed the victory.

SMU running back Zach Line ran for 139 yards, only the 21st back to cross the 100 yard mark in the last 117 games.

TCU improves to 4-0 on the season with their 18th consecutive regular season win. SMU falls to 2-2 on the year.
