Three Dallas Cowboys Earn 2024 AP All-Pro Honors

The Associated Press announced today that three members of the Dallas Cowboys were named to the 2024 All-Pro team, including one first-team and two second-team selections.

From the offense, CeeDee Lamb earned second-team All-Pro honors at wide receiver, his third overall All-Pro nod and third consecutive after being named second-team All-Pro in 2022 and first-team All-Pro in 2023. Lamb finished the 2024 season with 101 catches for 1,194 yards and six touchdown catches. Lamb has now tallied over 100 receptions in three consecutive seasons, joining Michael Thomas and Brandon Marshall as the only three players in NFL history with 100-plus catches in three of their first five seasons, and he is the fifth wide receiver in NFL history to record at least 1,000 scrimmage yards in each of his first five seasons, joining Mike Evans, A.J. Green, Justin Jefferson and Randy Moss. Lamb is the first Cowboys receiver to garner three All-Pro nods since Michael Irvin, who earned two second-team nods and one first-team selection from the Associated Press over the 1991-93 seasons.

The Cowboys also had two specialists named to All-Pro teams, with KaVontae Turpin taking home first-team All-Pro honors at return specialist and Brandon Aubrey earning second-team All-Pro honors at kicker. It is the second All-Pro selection for both Aubrey and Turpin, with Aubrey earning first-team All-Pro in 2023 and Turpin being named first-team All-Pro in 2022.

Turpin is the first return specialist to earn All-Pro honors in Cowboys history, and he earns his second nod after he averaged 33.5 yards-per-kickoff return in 2024, highest in the NFL and a single-season franchise record (min. 1.25 kick returns per game). Turpin’s 33.5 kickoff return average was also the second-highest since the NFL merger, trailing only Jim Duncan (35.4 in 1970).

Aubrey becomes the second kicker in franchise history with two All-Pro nods, joining Efren Herrera (second-team, 1976; first-team, 1977) and passing Rafael Septien (first-team, 1981), Richie Cunningham (first-team, 1997) and Dan Bailey (second-team, 2015) as Cowboys kickers with one All-Pro nod.

Aubrey made 40 field goals in 2024, setting the franchise record for the most field goals made in a season, and he set the NFL record for the most 50-yard field goals made in a season with 14, including a 65-yard make.

Additionally, Aubrey tied for second in the NFL with 150 points scored in 2024, and his 307 career points scored are the most in a player’s first two seasons in NFL history.
