The Texas Rangers rallied from 3 runs down in the 10th inning to defeat the Los Angeles Angels 11-10 on a walk-off single by Elvis Andrus.

The Rangers were down by 6 runs early in the game after starting pitcher Yu Darvish gave up 7 earned runs in 5 innings.

Texas used a 4-run 5th inning to cut into the Angels lead and kept chipping away until Ian Kinsler tied the game with a solo home run in the bottom of the 9th inning.

Reliever Joe Nathan gave up 2 home runs in the 10th as the Angels appeared to have the win, but Nelson Cruz led off the bottom of the inning with a home run.  Four batters later, Mitch Moreland closes the deficit to 1 as he sends Michael Young home with a line drive single to right field.  That set up the game winning 2-run single by Andrus to seal the victory for Texas.

Of the 5 pitchers used by the Rangers, only Robbie Ross did not give allow a run.  Ross struck out 3 in 1 2/3 innings.

Texas closes out the homestand against the Angels tonight at the Ballpark in Arlington.  Ryan Dempster will make his first start for the Rangers since being acquired from the Cubs on Tuesday.  Former Ranger CJ Wilson will be on the mound for the Angels.  First pitch is at 7:05 pm.
