TCU women defeat San Diego State

The TCU women defeated San Diego State 63-52 Saturday at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.  The Horned Frogs improved to 7-2 in the Mountain West Conference and 15-8 overall. 

Delisa Gross led the Frogs with a career-high 20 points.  Along the way, Gross tied a school record by going 7-for-7 from the field.  Briesha Wynn also had a career game with 13 points.  Helena Sverrisdottir was the only other TCU player in double figures while playing in her 117th start, 2nd most in TCU history.

Starr Crawford led TCU with 10 rebounds.

The TCU defense forced 23 turnovers, allowing the Frogs to go on a 21-2 run to close out the first half.

TCU plays next at UNLV on Feb. 9 at 9 pm.
