2009 Bombardier Learjet 550k Pole
Fort Worth, TX – Dario Franchitti won the pole for the IndyCar Series Bombardier Learjet 550k at Texas Motor Speedway. Franchitti, of Target/Chip Ganassi Racing, had a 4-lap time of 1:37:6725 for an average speed of 214.513 mph. Starting second will be Ryan Briscoe of Team Penske with a time of 1:37:7179. Right behind them will be their teammates, Scott Dixon of Target/Chip Ganassi and Helio Castroneves of Team Penske.
Fan favorite Danica Patrick will start 5th.
