2009 O’Reilly 300 Practice

Practice for the NASCAR Nationwide Series O’Reilly 300 is underway at Texas Motor Speedway. 49 cars are vying for the 43 spots in the starting lineup.

Many of the NASCAR superstars from the premier Sprint Cup Series are doing double duty this weekend. Drivers such as Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, and Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth are among the notables.  Also competing is NASCAR’s favorite son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., along with elder brother Kerry.

Qualifying for the event takes place tonight, beginning at 6:05pm.
