3 Racing Series Join at Texas Motor Speedway
Drivers from 3 very different racing series met at Texas Motor Speedway today to swap rides.
IndyCar Series driver Graham Rahal and NASCAR driver Ricky Carmichael took rides with Formula DRIFT’s drivers Michael Essa and Fredric Aasbo. Afterwards, Rahal gave rides around the speedway in an IndyCar two-seater.
Carmichael will be racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series WinStar World Casino 400k on Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway.
The Formula DRIFT drivers will be competing in a special Ultimate Drifting event held as a pre-race event prior to the IZOD IndyCar Firestone Twin 275’s on Saturday.
