Buescher Wins Pole for NASCAR Truck Race

Plano native James Buescher won the Keystone Light Pole Award for the WinStar World Casino 350k at Texas Motor Speedway.  Buescher lapped the 1.5 mile track in 29.824 seconds for a speed of 181.062 mph.

This is Buescher’s 3rd pole in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and his second consecutive at Texas Motor Speedway.

Austin Dillon, the current truck series points leader, qualified 2nd.  It is his 22nd top-10 start of 2011.  Blake Feese will start third.

Kyle Busch and Ricky Carmichael round out the top 5 for the race, which is Friday night at 7:00pm.
