Cruz ties record as Rangers win 4th straight

Nelson Cruz became only the 3rd player in major league history to hit a home run in each of the first four games of a season Monday night against the Mariners.  Willie Mays (1971) and Mark McGwire (1998) are the only other men with that distinction.  The Rangers defeated the Mariners 6-4 for their 4th straight win.

Elvis Andrus also hit a home run for the Rangers, his first since September 2, 2009 (705 at bats).

Ian Kinsler went 0-3 after hitting home runs in each of the first 3 games.  Julio Borbon got two RBIs on a triple in the second inning.

Starting pitcher Derek Holland went 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits to earn the win.  Netfali Feliz got his first save of the season.
