As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to start the season this weekend against the Washington Redskins, we at DFWsportsonline are going out on a limb and making our season predictions. Trying to maintain a balance between being optimistic and realistic, none of us are predicting a 16 win season. Hopefully, we will be wrong.
The Cowboys have the 3rd most difficult schedule in the NFL based on last season’s results. They are coming off a division title, and have the Super Bowl at their home stadium.
With that in mind, our predictions range from 8-8 to 12-4.
Gene predicts the Cowboys will go 12-4 and win the NFC East. George, Mike, and Dave all see the Cowboys at 10-6, still in the hunt for the division title. Ray sees a big slide for the ‘Boys as he predicts an 8-8 season.
