Dallas Mavericks Now Accept Bitcoin as Method of Payment

DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Mavericks are now just the second team in the NBA to accept Bitcoin, a form of cryptocurrency, as a method of payment for game tickets and merchandise.

The Mavs will utilize the service provider BitPay to process all Bitcoin purchases.

BitPay, the largest bitcoin payment processor in the world, offers the Dallas Mavs’ global fans a seamless experience to purchase tickets and merchandise with the Bitcoin Cryptocurrency.  

“The Dallas Mavericks have been an outspoken advocate for Bitcoin, opening up opportunities for the team as it starts to accept Bitcoin for ticket sales and merchandise,” said Stephen Pair, CEO of BitPay.

With fans in mind, the move to accept additional forms of currency makes tickets and merchandise more accessible to MFFLs everywhere.
