Giants walk away with World Series Game 2 win

The Texas Rangers gave away Game 2 to the San Francisco Giants.  Wasting a good showing by starting pitcher C.J. Wilson, the Rangers could not get any offense going, then the relievers gave the game away in the 8th inning.

Wilson pitched 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on just 3 hits before exiting the game with a blister.  Unfortunately, the Rangers batters could only scatter 4 hits of their own.

Texas brought in an army of relief pitchers in the 8th inning.  Three of them could not throw a strike.  With 2 outs in the inning, the Rangers walked 4 straight batters, then allowed 3 straight hits.  The Giants scored 7 runs before the Rangers could get the 3rd out.

With no offense or defense, the Rangers lose 9-0.  Trailing 2 games to zero in the Series, Texas returns home for Game 3 Saturday night.
