Guerrero leads Rangers to victory

Vladimir Guerrero became just the 32nd player in MLB history to hit a home run against every team in the Texas Rangers 8-7 win over the Los Angeles Angels.  Guerrero wasn’t the only Ranger with a big stick, Michael Young and Ian Kinsler both homered for Texas.  Young gave Texas the lead for good with an RBI single in the 6th inning.

Rangers starting pitcher C. J. Wilson had his worst outing of the year, giving up 7 runs in just 4 1/3 innings.   Dustin Nippert, Darren O’Day, Chris Ray, Frank Francisco and Neftali Feliz combined to shut out the Angels and get the win.

The Rangers move on from sweeping the Angels to hosting the Orioles next.
