NASCAR Nationwide Series O’Reilly 300 practice begins

The NASCAR Nationwide Series avoided rain showers and practiced on schedule today at Texas Motor Speedway.  After qualifying was cancelled for the ARCA Rattlesnake 150 due to rain, the dryers came out and the track was ready in time for NNS practice to begin. 

Justin Allgaier posted the fastest lap with a speed of 185.656 mph.
