NASCAR Trucks Come To Texas

Fort Worth – The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series kicks off a full weekend of racing at the Texas Motor Speedway.  Practice began for the NCWTS Winstar World Casino 350k to be held Friday night.

The fastest during practice was Matt Crafton with a lap speed of 180.180 mph.

Series leader and defending champion Ron Hornaday, Jr was 9th fastest.

In qualifying, Matt Crafton continued to be fastest as the won the Keystone Light Pole Award with a lap of 179.354 mph.  This is his first pole at Texas Motor Speedway.

Todd Bodine, who won here in June, will start 2nd.  Bodine has won 5 times at Texas, the most of any driver.
