Rangers agree to terms with eight players on 2011 contracts
Surprise, Ariz. – The Texas Rangers announced that the club has agreed to terms with the following eight players on contracts for the 2011 season:
Beltre, Engel – OF
Borbon, Julio – OF
De Los Santos, Miguel – LHP
Feliz, Neftali – RHP
Holland, Derek – LHP
Kirkman, Michael – LHP
Phillips, Zach – LHP
Tobin, Mason – RHP
With these agreements, there are now 14 players under club control on the 40-man roster who have yet to sign. The Rangers play their Cactus League opener on Feb. 27 vs. Kansas City in Surprise.
