Rangers announce 2011 Promotions Schedule
Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers announced the club’s complete 2011 Promotions Schedule and the list of Ticket Specials.
Individual tickets for all 2011 home games with the exception of opening day will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. this Saturday at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington West Ticket Office, on the internet at texasrangers.com, or by phone at 972.RANGERS.
The highlights of the 2011 Promotion Schedule include:
— Most Sunday home games will be “Kids Sundays” with the giveaways targeted for Youngsters ages 13 & under.
— Most Monday home games will be “All Fans Mondays”. Everyone entering the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington will receive the promotional giveaway on those nights.
— The number of promotional giveaway nights has been increased from 19 in 2010 to 27 in 2011.
— The Rangers will highlight their 2010 A.L. Championship Season with several
giveaways to all fans: Michaels Crafting @ the Ballpark Calendars featuring photos from the magical playoff run on April 2; Replicas of the team’s championship rings on April 4; FSSW & Progressive Claw and Antler Caps on April 18, and Commemorative Pennant on May 9.
— Post-Game Fireworks Shows will take place every Friday night and as well as Monday, July 4, a total of 13 shows. Eleven of the shows will be Verizon Wireless Fireworks Fridays with discounts on tickets and parking.
— Six pre or post game concerts on the North Lawn of Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Groups confirmed are pre-game concerts with MercyMe, presented by I Am Second on August 27 and Intocable on September 10.
— Josh Hamilton’s Most Valuable Player Award season will be commemorated with MVP T-Shirts on April 3 (kids 13 & Under and Coca-Cola Collectable Figurines on May 23 for all fans.
— Promotional items featuring eight different Rangers (Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Nelson Cruz, Neftali Feliz, Josh Hamilton, Ian Kinsler, C.J. Wilson, Michael Young). In 2010, five players were featured on Giveaway items.
— New Items for 2011 include:
* C.J. Wilson Commemorative Gloves (half red and half blue) on June 26 (kids 13 & under)
* Two Nelson Cruz items, Medical Center of Arlington Walk-Off Bobblehead on June 20 (all fans) and Boomstick Day featuring Louisville Slugger Bats on July 10 (kids 13 & under)
* Coca-Cola and La Michoacana Oven Mitts on September 9 (1st 20,000 14 & older)
* Rangers Footballs on August 28 and Soccer Balls on September 10 (both kids 13 & under)
— Fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark on May 29th for Bark in the Park presented by Natural Balance Pet Foods.
The Rangers will once again have a number of individual game ticket discounts to provide added value in 2011, including the return of Verizon Wireless Fireworks Fridays when Lexus Club Terrace, Upper Box, and Upper Reserved tickets are just $10.00 on all Fridays except May 6. Cash parking is just $5.00 on those nights. 2011 Ticket Specials include:
DR PEPPER CANS: Enter DRPEPPER as the coupon code on texasrangers.com or bring any Dr Pepper or Diet Dr Pepper can to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington to purchase tickets in Upper Reserved or Upper Box for $10 or Lexus Club Terrace for $15. COCA-COLA TOTAL FAMILY PACKS: Choose from Lower Reserved seating for $100 or Upper Reserved seating for $60 and save up to 50% on four tickets, four jumbo hot dogs, four Coke soft drinks, $20 in Sports Park tokens, and one souvenir program. Additional persons may be added (one program per four tickets). Offer is available for all Sunday through Thursday regular-season games except April 3, May 8, July 4, and August 22-25. ALL YOU CAN EAT SEATS: Available in Upper Home Run Porch for every game, All You Can Eat Seats include unlimited grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and soft drinks served in the enclosed, air-conditioned Upper Home Run Porch Grill. All You Can Eat Seats are regularly-priced at $39 with premier games at $45. (Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.) Subject to availability, and some restrictions apply.
