The Texas Rangers finished off the road series at Yankee Stadium with a 10-6 victory.

The Rangers belted out 16 hits in the game, more than in the first 3 games of the series combined.  Texas opened the game with two runs in the first inning.   Michael Young and Josh Hamilton scored on a single by Adrian Beltre.

Neither team would score again until the sixth inning, when David Murphy singles to score Hamilton.  Beltre would also score on a force out from Craig Gentry.

The Rangers 4-0 lead would not last long.  The Yankees scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th.

The re-discovered Texas offense would strike back to score 3 more runs in the 7th and put the Rangers on top for good.  2 additional runs in the 8th and another in the 9th inning sealed the Texas victory.

Starting pitcher Derek Holland left the game in the 6th inning with no decision after giving up 5 runs.  Reliever Tanner Scheppers finish the inning and is credited with his first win of the season.

Michael Kirkman, Mike Adams, and Joe Nathan each pitched a scoreless inning.

After breaking an 8-game losing streak at Yankee Stadium, the Rangers move north to Toronto to face the Blue Jays on Friday.  Yu Darvish will be on the mound for the Rangers.
