Rangers blast Yankees again

The Texas Rangers are within 1 game of the World Series after a 10-3 shelling of the New York Yankees.

In a game where both teams battled back and forth for 5 innings, Bengie Molina put the Rangers up for good with a 3 run home run.  Texas then scores 2 more in the 7th and adds another 3 in the 9th.  Josh Hamilton hit 2 late inning home runs and Nelson Cruz added another for good measure.

Texas starting pitcher Tommy Hunter struck out 5 in 3 1/3 innings before Derek Holland came in and pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings to get the win.  Darren O’Day, Clay Rapada, and Darren Oliver combined to finish off the Yankees.

The Rangers will try to close out the series in New York with C.J. Wilson facing C.C. Sabathia in a rematch of Game 1.
