Rangers Fall To Angels

Texas Rangers pitcher Matt Harrison gave 6 good innings against his former teammate CJ Wilson of the Los Angeles Angels.  With the game tied at 2-2 in the 7th inning, Harrison walked just his 2nd batter of the day and gave up just the 4th hit.  Unfortunately, both of them ended up scoring to give the Angels a 4-2 victory and Harrison his 3rd loss of the season.

Wilson started the game for the Angels after throwing just 22 pitches as the starter of Fridays game which was rain delayed.  Wilson went 5 2/3 innings and gets no decision.

Texas outfielder Josh Hamilton continued his hot streak, hitting home run number 18 of the season in the 6th inning.  It is Hamilton’s 9th home run in the last 6 games.

Game 3 of the series is Sunday night at 7:05pm at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
