The Texas Rangers had the mindset to hit and continue to hit for today’s game against the Colorado Rockies. The only problem was that the Rockies had the same idea.

The Rangers (44-28) fell to the Rockies 11-7 (27-43) Saturday afternoon at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington in a game that was decided by the team’s defensive pressure. The loss snaps a 7 game win streak for the Rangers.

Starting pitcher Colby Lewis gave up 8 runs in just 4 innings as he dropped to 6-6 on the season. Lewis struck out 6 and allowed 12 hits finishing with an ERA of 3.51.
